The redevelopment of Thiess Dempsey House consists of the refurbishment an existing timber cottage built in the 1920 and the construction of three new units directly behind.

The Thiess Dempsey House was officially opened by Grace Grace MP, State Member for Central on Satuday 15 August 2009 with four families moving in that same afternoon.

Thiess Queensland provided ongoing design, project management and engineering expertise whilst their network of generous suppliers subcontactors, consultants and advisors donated their good and services.

CCS would like to thank all involved in making this project possible and extending our accomodation facilities for our regional families whilst their children undergo cancer treatment at hopsital in Brisbane.
