Here is the full list of Standard fields attached to Projects (Services for the Community) in CLASS

Project ID Cannot be edited. Prefix of P for Project. Adds +1 automatically for each new Project.  No
Title Project Title In Page
Project Status Commenced, completed etc.  Types & Categories
Start Date Defaults to today's date when first saving new project In Page
Close Date   In Page
Funding Category This field is shared with Services for Individuals Types & Categories
Project Type A useful field to localise Types & Categories
Estimated Time Spent This is shared with Project ServiceField is named "Estimated Time Spent (Project Service)" in Types and Categories. Types & Categories
Estimated Direct Cost Idea is to record budget in Dollars and cents In Page
Total Staff hour Should be "hours" - A place to note staff hours total. May wish to record breakdown in Actions of each Project Service In Page
Committee work Indicator Tick box In Page
Committee Name Note format In Page
Keywords Searchable In Page
Assigned To Usually the worker(s) directly handling this project, or may be e.g. volunteer and supervisor In Page
Created by Worker who first created the Project, ie. Handled the data entry, automates to who is logged in at creation, but can be edited In Page
Link Type Where project is Linked to other Data Entities e.g. Clients, Services, external file numbers, other projects. Can be edited Types & Categories

The following are the default mandatory fields :

  • Funding Category (?? duplicates service)
  • Project Type

Note: Centres may choose to add more mandatory fields.
